As the last few days tick away until The 45 Spiced Rum is shipped, we’ve been sharing some cocktails and some other ideas for drinking our rum. This one might surprise you but we urge you to give it a go, particularly if you find yourself drinking a Gin and Tonic now and again.
Adding Tonic to spirits other than Gin is more common around the world than you might think. A classic, refreshing summer drink of Cognac and Tonic is served very often in France over ice with a slice of Lemon. They call it a Cognac Long. It tastes fantastic.
It is with this in mind that we urge you to get some spiced rum and tonic into your drinking repertoire.
It’s this simple:
Pour a good shot of The 45 Spiced Rum over ice into a glass. Add a slice of tangerine or orange, add a nice tonic of your choice. Enjoy.
